the manual features 2 audio cds, including the biophila album plus an exclusive live recording of björk's performance of biophila during manchester international festival, in a 48-page, full-color, hardbound, cloth-covered, and thread-sewn book. the front cover features a lenticular panel with a 3D version of the front cover whilst the spine and back cover are foil-blocked. inside pages are printed on 170gsm matt-coated stock.

the manual contains essays by nikki dibben, design, drawing and live photography by m/m (paris) exclusive to this edition, and additional photography by inez van lamsweerde & vinoodh matadin.
