Comments:
The closing show of the 6-date 2013 Paris residency (February 21st to March 8th).
"Le Zénith" is a 6,000-seat arena located in the North Eastern outskirts of Paris.
The concert featured a rare performance of "Unravel".
Enjoy! ;-)
Peace, M.
This is an experimental and rough show, cerebral trip to the country sounds and atoms, a journey of darkness and the merger application - but fans of Biophilia, her latest album know - concentration and reflection. For Björk takes most tracks on the album (Crystalline, Moon, Dark Matter) compounds with more reliefs steep to climb as easy to sing melodies. Biophilia name is also a reference to the neurologist Oliver Sacks book (Musicophilia) and the majestic voice of the researcher naturalist David Attenborough presents the concert. Biofiliation basically.
During one forty, Björk explores the subject through the senses and vibration accompanied by the Graduale Nobili, a set of Icelandic singers, blond elf priestess of the surrounding sound afro hairstyle. Algorithms result in eight plasma screens noises world Biophilia while three musicians, Max Weisel, Matt Robertson and Manu Delago evolve amid a firm musical curiosities - organ gamelester, giant pendulum ....
Incredible vocal arabesques Icelandic singer will form over a string of concert archaic songs, songs of the earth, songs of atoms. Crystalline and telluric voice guttural, childish, melts until the final trance, the original chaos. The video then moldy and sonic flash conclude the demanding and astonishing experience.
